Hey everyone,

My faith and fitness journey has been a lifelong endeavor that really took off late in my high school years and early in college. My athletic career was drastically changed before my senior year of high school at a Steubenville LEAD week when I truly gave up all that I was to Christ. I went from a backup as a junior at a small high school in Texas to an all state quarterback and all American punter by radically reorienting my life to serve Christ in all that I did. At that point I was torn between pursuing a career as a youth minister and a high school coach. My father told me that a youth minister gets to teach kids about God but he can’t do much with sports while a high school coach is able to teach kids about God while still being involved with sports. Serving God through sports became my mission field.

Through this success my senior year, I was able to play collegiately at Texas State University where I fell in love with the weight room. I was undersized as an incoming freshman and our strength coach put a lot of time and effort into helping me transform my body. I was eventually able to gain enough weight to be a contributor on the football team my junior and senior season. This led me to getting my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association in order to be a strength coach myself. During this time, I was also the president of our FCA program at Texas State and a member of several Bible studies through our FOCUS campus ministry at Texas State.

I have served as the head strength coach at two schools for 4 years and I have been an assistant coach at two other schools for 5 years in addition to coaching football and a variety of other sports. Through trying to find ways to optimize our offseason program I chose to become a Certified Nutrition Coach through the National Association of Sports Medicine.

Hypuro Fit’s motto of “Self Mastery for Self Gift” fits perfectly into what we’ve always tried to teach our kids in our offseason program. We sacrifice all we can in the offseason to build ourselves up for the betterment of our brothers on the field during the season. We have been very blessed with success using this model playing in 7 state championships and winning 5 of them at two different classifications.

I can’t wait to work with you all! If you’re looking for championship level accountability to be your best for those you serve, I’m your guy!
