MISSION

Applied Theology of the Body

In the Spring of 2020 Hypuro Fit was created out of a desire to spread the message of Pope St. John Paul the Great while offering a technically excellent approach to fitness and nutrition. Coach Chase began his personal training career in a standard big box gym but found people needed something more than just a good workout. They needed a why.

Pope St. John Paul II had a specific set of lenses through which he read scripture, and saw life through. He called this view: The Hermeneutic of Gift. Namely, that
man can only find himself through a sincere gift of self.

Everyone is searching for purpose and meaning and we believe that our destiny is to imitate Christ in a total gift of self. Yet, as Pope St. John Paul II said in his theology of the body, "self-mastery is indispensable in order for man to be able to 'give himself'" (TOB 15.2)

Exercise is where we can learn to master our bodies in order to be able to fully give of ourselves.
At Hypuro Fit, our mission is to help you along your journey to self gift.

1 CORINTHIANS 9:24-27

Do you not know that in a race the runners all compete, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win it. Athletes exercise self-control in all things; they do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable one. So I do not run aimlessly, nor do I box as though beating the air; but I punish my body and enslave it, so that after proclaiming to others I myself should not be disqualified.
